Dr. Michelle O'Brien joins Palm Glen Animal Hospital from Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Scottsdale Arizona after graduation from veterinary school, where she has practiced for 5 years. After receiving her undergraduate degrees in biomedical sciences and Spanish language from Western Michigan University, Dr. Michelle O'Brien received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduating in 2020, she has worked in small animal general practice. When Dr. Michelle O'Brien isn’t treating her patients, she can be found spending time with family and friends, working out, and going on hikes. Her favorite place to travel is the Caribbean on a cruise. Dr. Michelle has 1 dog named Levi. Dr. Michelle played basketball for 4 years for Western Michigan University's women's basketball program. Dr. Michelle strives to make every visit comfortable for pets and educational for owners and she is excited to make a positive impact and lasting connections!
