Dr. Camryn Carlson joins Palm Glen Animal Hospital from Starkville, Mississippi where she graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Science from Mississippi State, Dr. Camryn Carlson stayed at Mississippi State and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 2025. During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Carlson was very involved in the shelter medicine program and the local cat rescue, earning her the ‘Proficiency in Shelter Medicine Award.’ When Dr. Camryn Carlson isn’t treating her patients, she can be found hiking and kayaking, reading, or bottle raising orphaned kittens. Dr. Carlson is so excited to be back in Arizona with her fiancée and her dog, cats, and scaled creatures.
